Weight: 114.7KG (18st 0lb)
BMI: 36,2
Waist: 40″/42″ – My 42″ are starting to feel lose and I can get into some of my old 40″ again !!
So in the third week I have lost 3lbs (but oddly MyFitnessPal reports 2lb), another good week and I met my weekly 2-3 lbs goal. Didn’t run at all this week, but I have done my strength exercises. Have decided to leave the gym for now.
Calorie intake target will remain at 1650 for this week.

BMI: 37.0
Waist: 42″
So in the second week I have lost 4lbs, another good week and I met my weekly 2-3 lbs goal. Didn’t run that much this week (once), but ran 5KM today in around 37mins so will try to do that every two weeks or so as another benchmark. Going to also start doing some strength exercises and might look at rejoining the Gym in a few months.
Have dropped my calorie intake target to 1650 this week, not sure if it will make a difference as I am normally 200 cal below each day but worth a go!

Posted: January 8, 2012 Filed under: General, Stats Leave a comment »I initially planned to weigh my self every 2 weeks but today (1 week from my initial weigh in) I decided to just see how I was getting on.
Todays Stats:
Weight: 117.5KG (18st 7lb)
BMI: 37.1
Waist: 42″
So in the first week I have lost 6lbs, I am really happy with that. I am aiming for around 2-3lbs a week and hopefully as I continue I will be able to maintain it. I mainly lost weight through watching what I eat and sticking to my 1760 calories a day. This week I will start running more which should help.
I have added a counter on the right hand side which my will show my total lbs lost.

Weight – 120.3KG (18ST 13lb)
BMI: – 38.0
Waist: – 42
To help bring my weight down and increase my fitness I will be using MyFitnessPal.com and Adidas MiCoach – Both are available as iPhone apps. Along with motivation and support from Family/Friends and Colleagues.
I will be limiting my calorie intake to 1760 a day and aiming to run around 3 – 5 times a week. I might even throw in some Dance Central 2 for good measure.
I will post a stats update each month and hopefully they will start to decrease!

Firstly welcome to my blog! After owning this domain for about 6 years I thought I should do something useful with it! As this is the start of a New Year I have made the traditional resolutions. This year I have again made my usual “lose weight and get fit” but this time have given myself a target to reach. On the 7th October 2012 I will be running the Basingstoke Half Marathon
I have decided to use this blog initally as a way to track my progress but I might through some other posts in their too.
Will post my starting stats soon!
